The following year, the bank Hentsch & Cie set up shop on Rue de la Corraterie. Then it was Lombard Odier’s turn in 1858. Almost a century later, in 1957, the same bank acquired the building next door to its own, at 9 Rue de la Corraterie. In 2018, Lombard Odier sold off most of its properties on the Corraterie, retaining only its historic headquarters at number 15, before selling that too in 2025.
Today, the Corraterie reconnects with its roots, once again reinventing itself as a destination address – a place to live, stroll and experience the city, where history meets modernity and elegance blends with urban energy in the very heart of Calvin’s City.
